The racket also features Yonex’s new Energy Boost Cap, which provides a boost in energy transfer from the player to the racket by way of flexing the shaft in a single direction, reducing torsion of the shaft and energy loss. The point of flex on the Yonex Astrox 88S Tour is at the bottom of the frame, near the T-Joint, which enables the string-bed the ability to hold the shuttle for longer giving the player more acceleration and agility.
